Village Plan
Betchworth sits in very special local environmental landscape which we wish to protect. With the change in government policy (NPFF) and the upcoming Surrey Strategic plan, change is inevitable. A working group are currently developing a village survey and then a Neighbourhood Development Plan.
Betchworth remains a living, working, historic, rural village — beautiful, welcoming and well connected — where new development is modest and in keeping with our history, the wildlife, landscape and nature are protected, and neighbours of every age can take part in village life.
