Our Village, Our Future: Facing up to Climate Change Together
Betchworth Parish Council, Re-Betchworth and the 4Bs Biodiversity Group invite you to a Climate Change event and deciding what we as a village want to do about it. Monday 26th October. 7pm-9pm. Drinks available 6.30pm-7pm. Betchworth Village Hall.

This summer left its mark. Surrey has just had its third exceptionally dry summer in five years — scorched lawns, parched flowerbeds, stressed trees, cracked walls and driveways. Climate change is no longer distant or abstract. It’s here, in our gardens and lanes.
It affects more than the garden. It reaches into our homes, our local economy, our environment — the way we live.
That’s why Betchworth Parish Council, Re-Betchworth and the 4Bs Biodiversity Initiative are bringing the village together: to listen, ask questions, share views, and — most importantly — decide what we do next.
What to expect
An eye-opening video screening on how our changing climate is already shaping daily life and the local economy — followed by an open community discussion on the practical steps we can take to protect the environment we love and build a more resilient Betchworth.
