Goulburn Green

The village green, a gift from the late Lord Hamilton for the use of the village, is situated between The Street and The Walled Garden.

It is owned and maintained by the Parish Council and is used for village recreation and events, such as Royal Jubilee Celebrations. It is also the venue of the Harvest Lunch in alternate years.

In 2016 a swing and slide unity were installed for use of younger children.

Consent for its use by groups and organisations can be sought from the Parish Clerk, although it should be emphasised that users must arrange their own insurance as the Parish Council cannot legally provide this cover. A water supply is available and Councillors Ian Wilson and Hilary Edwards have keys.
